Homebuyer Reports

This survey is suitable for conventional properties in a reasonable condition. It's a good way to avoid unexpected repair costs further down the line. It will help find out if there are any structural problems, such as subsidence or damp, as well as any other unwelcome hidden issues inside and outside. We're also able to include a property valuation if required.

Building Surveys

This survey is suitable for all residential properties. It uses a clear presentation style and a 1, 2, 3 rating system to ensure that you can easily identify the most serious issues. It's particularly good for older homes or properties that might need repairs. It provides an in-depth analysis of the property's condition highlighting a range of issues which includes defects, repairs and maintenance options. We're also able to include a property valuation if required.

Help-to-Buy Valuations

These surveys will be needed if you're looking to repay, remortgage or sell your property where you have a “Help-to-Buy” loan. Target Servicing Ltd have been appointed by the Home and Communities Agency to administer the scheme and require you to get an independent Help-to-Buy Valuation before redeeming the loan. This will determine the amount repayable and will be based on the current market value of your property.

Shared Ownership Valuations

When you wish to buy additional percentages of the shared property you own (you can increase your share in 10% increments - this is called staircasing) or wish to sell, a formal valuation is required. This will exclude any home improvements made at the share owner's expense.
